Alluvium in South East Queensland

We are very pleased to say that the Alluvium Brisbane office is up and running. After an extensive search for people with the right skills, attitude and principles Steve Skull and Matt McIntyre have started with us in South East Queensland.

Dr Steve Skull will be the regional manager in Brisbane. He was previously the Manager of Environmental Policy at Sunshine Coast Regional Council. Steve’s technical background is in Marine Biology and for the last eight years has been involved at a high level in NRM management in SE Queensland. This includes leading the project which won the National River Prize at last year’s RiverSymposium.

Matt McIntyre has an environmental planning background and has been running his own business which focuses on EIA and EMS work. He has significant experience in international work and one of his current projects has investigated a protected areas network in East Timor including the writing of management plan for the first official national park. Matt will focus on expanding our current resource sector activities into SE Queensland.

These appointments build on the extensive work we already do in SE Queensland. Though this effort we aim to become more available and responsive, and broaden to our experience in the region.

Matt has already begun the search for our office space so we anticipate an address in the next few weeks...
