Environmental Impact Assessment Support Services to the Department of Defence

Alluvium staff were seconded to the Directorate of Environmental Protection and Assessments (DEPA) in the Department of Defence to provide high-quality environmental impact assessment advice on project information submitted to DEPA for technical authority review. The consultants were required to have a good understanding of EIA practices within Defence and a high level of knowledge of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act), including its Significant Impact Guidelines. Alluvium staff performance during this secondment was rated as “Very Good” against Technical Quality, Timeliness, Communication, Overall Client Service, and Final Product Delivered criteria.
