Tracey holds a Bachelor of Marine Science from JCU Townsville. Although she has undertaken marine studies, Tracey found her passion within the earth and environmental sciences. As a result, she completed several geomorphology and spatial science subjects and was awarded 2 prizes with her degree due to her high pass levels in these study areas.
Tracey is interested in coastal and catchment rehabilitation and management incorporating nature-based solutions. She also has a keen interest in earth observation and GIS and gained valuable experience during her degree undertaking introductory and advanced GIS courses. Her advanced GIS project focussed on data acquisition and analysis along with communication of her findings through map creation and Story Map design.
