Billy completed a Master of Science in Coastal and Marine Resource Management in 2018 and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Geography in 2017.
His dissertation for his MSc focussed on stakeholder engagement and the consultation process of the Southsea Coastal Scheme in the UK. This involved a mixed-method approach to researching the effectiveness of stakeholder engagement throughout the consultation process of the scheme. Billy has a strong interest in coastal management and stakeholder engagement.
Before joining Alluvium, Billy worked as a Senior Change Analyst within the UK energy sector. Billy has experience facilitating workshops and meetings coupled with analysing the outcomes of these forums to ensure that all views are captured. He understands the importance of engaging stakeholders throughout the whole engagement process, in particular the early stages, to ensure ownership can be achieved.
