Parth is an urban water professional with over 9 years of experience in working with communities, local governments, and private sector firms on watershed management, urban waterbody rejuvenation, integrated water management planning and urban flood resilience strategy. His expertise spans urban stormwater design, design of rainwater harvesting structures, catchment analysis, and wastewater treatment design using Nature-based solutions such as constructed wetlands. He has prepared over 7 master plans and over 5 detailed project reports on Urban waterbody rejuvenation for different municipal governments & state agencies. He has also implemented water conservation infrastructure projects in rural India to improve irrigation security and the livelihoods of farmers. Parth also has experience in developing publications and contributing to knowledge briefs on nature-based solutions. He intertwines his problem-solving, data analysis and project management skills to effectively deliver high-quality outputs and project insights.
After spending close to 8 years in non-profit organizations, Parth has joined Alluvium Consulting India (ACI) as an Urban Water Specialist in Bengaluru, India. He would closely work with Alluvium International (AI) & ACI teams to strengthen the urban water business portfolio and expand Alluvium’s presence in India. His key focus areas are to mainstream ACI’s Urban waterbody restoration works and increase engagement of private sector developers on WSUD principles.
